For all of  your furniture  bought  from the Salty Collection and purchased from the 1st April 2023 our Structural Guarantee covers your furniture against manufacturing faults or defects for 10 years from the date your order was delivered to your home.

Products that are not included in the guarantee are :

​

• All outdoor furniture

• Garden Trading furniture

• Homewares

 

Your  10  year guarantee ensures that your furniture will be structurally repaired by a skilled craftsman at the Salty workshop if there is a fault or defect with your item. We reserve the right to use an alternative, but similar materials to carry out your repair, should the original materials no longer be available.

 

If we feel we can not repair your furniture we will replace the item or if this is no longer  available, a suitable alternative of the same quality and style will be offered. Stained furniture will fade over time and change colour as this is a natural attribute to furniture finished with wood stains and waxes. So if you purchased more than one item from the Salty collection there may be a slight variance in colour between your original pieces and any replacement supplied.

If your furniture is repaired or replaced your guarantee will terminate on the original guarantee expiry date (from the date when you originally purchased the item). 

 

The 10 year  guarantee does not cover:

​

• Evidence of accidental or deliberate damage

• Where the furniture  has been modified, altered or repaired by anyone other than the Salty Team

• Normal wear and tear - Water staining, food stains, abrasion, burns, scratches, 

• Wood movement - Gaps between the wood, small cracks, general wood movement shrinking and expanding Furniture feet

• Wear and tear; where you have failed to properly maintain the item like we have suggested

• Damage to wood surfaces caused by water or contamination from contact with chemicals, cosmetics or hair products 

• Damage arising from natural changes to the timber or exposure to adverse environmental conditions – sunlight, adverse moisture or extreme heat (eg: situated too close to a radiator/ fire/ heat source)

Salty Bespoke Interiors 10 year Structural guarantee does not cover items purchased before 1st April 2023.

 

This guarantee is not transferable, if you sell or donate your furniture item to someone else.
